Your Role
We’re looking for a talented and driven Business Controller to join our regional finance team for Nordics & CEE (Central and Eastern Europe), based in our Stockholm office. In this role, you will work closely with the CFO, regional management team, and other key stakeholders across the organization to lead our business to new heights.
You’ll play a vital part in supporting strategic decision-making and financial performance as well as driving key financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Your work will directly contribute to our ongoing success story and support our continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial target follow-up.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying improvement areas.
- Develop and maintain models to create high efficiency and accuracy in our planning processes.
Reporting & Insights
- Develop and enhance reporting tools and KPIs.
- Prepare business reviews and management reporting for both regional and group-level leadership.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights, explaining P&L and cash flow impact clearly.
Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor to regional management.
- Provide decision support through scenario analysis and financial modeling.
- Work closely with operational teams to build financial understanding across the organization.
Projects & Initiatives
- Drive and contribute to improvement projects withing Finance and other functions.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Background
- Minimum 2-5 years in controlling, management consulting, or other analytical, business-oriented role.
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly grasp key profitability drivers.
- Experience from a subscription-based business model is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building models and conducting analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint and communication skills – able to convey insights clearly and persuasively.
- Knowledgeable about P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow budgeting and forecasting.
- Structured and analytical with attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, solution oriented, and eager to improve processes and results.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple stakeholders with a good sense of how and when to involve who to reach great results.
System & Tools
- Experience with BI systems and ERP/consolidation tools and how to embed and leverage these in planning processes.
Education & Language
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
